Students Union

Thousands of students are involved in University of Salford Students Union (USSU) activity and sports groups, the radio station and student representation system. We provide opportunities to meet people, get involved in exciting projects, have fun and develop skills and experience for life as well as offering specialist advice and support.

The following activities may be of specific interest:

Give Sport a Go is a free weekly programme of fun sport sessions for Salford Students to allow them to try something new or get back into sports they used to play. All abilities welcome, these sessions allow students to meet new friends, keep fit and have fun!

Clubs & Societies Students are encouraged to get in touch to have a chat about the Student Activities that might suit them.

Advice & Support The Students’ Union Advice Centre provides independent, friendly, professional advice that works. We advise on a range of academic related issues, including academic appeals, personal mitigating circumstances, disciplinary issues and complaints.  The Advice Centre is independent from the University, so can negotiate with them on your behalf and our close working relationship produces results.
