Student Life is here to help with many student health and wellbeing needs. Health Services work in partnership with NHS services in the community to ensure students get the care and support that they need while studying at Salford.
When students arrive at university, they are advised to register with a doctor to receive NHS treatment. It is also crucial to consider other aspects of your health and what you will need to look after your health while you are here.

Medical Centre
Students are able to use the campus Health Centre on the 3rd floor of the Maxwell building. This is a branch of the Langworthy Medical Practice commissioned by the University to provide healthcare to staff and students.

Opening hours during term time: Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm
Opening hours out of term time: Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 1.00pm
